Welcome to the October edition of the eNews.
A fresh new way to connect with GTAV is on its way!
The GTAV team has been working hard in recent months to prepare for the launch of our new website and association platform — designed to make it easier than ever to access resources, connect with fellow educators, and stay up to date with everything happening in Geography education.
This exciting update will include:
- A brand new, contemporary, and user-friendly website – helping you find what you need, faster.
- A dedicated member-only online community – a space to access and share resources, and connect and collaborate with other Geography educators.
- An updated database system – allowing you to subscribe to the mailing lists that best match your interests.
- Streamlined access to resources and events – making professional learning simpler and more accessible.
- A new and improved online store – making it even easier to browse and purchase resources to support your Geography teaching.
As with all complex IT projects, some delays can occur. At this stage, we anticipate the new website and community hub will go live in the week commencing 5 November. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work towards this exciting milestone.
In the meantime, you can continue to access resources via our online shop and register for events as usual.
Please note: due to the system transition, membership renewal notices will be sent out a little later than usual, likely around mid-November.
